June White Decker is both a park and beach access. The park is a small trail located on land above the beach. Nearby is plenty of free parking, public restrooms, and a bike rack. Down the ramp is the free public beach access. Due to private property on either side the access is small and fills up quickly, something to know before going. 

Walking distance from June White Decker is a restaurant called the Back Porch, one of Destin’s most well-known dining locations. Back Porch is a heavily trafficked location, but even on its busiest nights the wait is usually an hour or less. After a beach day you can come here to dine with a view overlooking the ocean. 

Before heading to the beach, know the surf conditions by taking note of the colored flag system.
